Candidate Skills -
1 – 2 years systems experience
Good troubleshooting skills (identify performance bottlenecks, networking issues, misconfiguration)
Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP)

1 – 2 years experience with Linux, preferably including development
Perl knowledge
Understanding of Object Oriented programming techniques, best backed by some hands-on C++/Java development experience

The candidate will contribute to McAfee's SaaS/Platform Unit, to better deliver McAfee products from our secure cloud. This position will work in the engineering teams to deploy new application releases and scale the online platforms while developing software to improve platform performance, scalability, functionality, security, and monitoring. You must have a passion for developing quality code!
Key Responsibilities:
Work with team to deliver ongoing product releases and updates
Collaborate developing and building out appropriate platform features
Keep our release process agile and efficient
Provide tools to measure application and system performance, execute performance tests, provide performance improvement recommendations
Participate in team efforts to provide combined line and statement coverage analysis across unit test and system tests for code written in a range of programming languages (e.g., C, C++, PHP, Python).
